MPHS UPDATE: GameDay Cheer will be held in Columbus at 5:15 p.m. Flag Football starts at 6:30 p.m.
To update today's earlier post:
MPHS Game Day Cheer will attempt another state title run on Dec. 3rd in Columbus (Columbus Civic Center-400 4th St, Columbus, GA.) The times have changed a bit from what is posted on the GHSA website. Mary Persons will be in the second session qualifying round that now begins around 3:15 pm. We are scheduled to be the 5th team after the second session break with a tentative floor time of 5:15 pm. Please get there early as times are subject to change!
MPHS Flag Football will face Stephenson on Dec. 4th in the first round of the GHSA state tournament. The game will be played at Southern Crescent Stadium of the Charles Drew High School campus located in Riverdale, Georgia (6231 Garden Walk Blvd, Riverdale, GA 30274.) Jonesboro vs. New Hampstead will begin with a 5:30 pm start time, Mary Persons will play Stephenson at 6:30 pm, and the winners of each game will play again at 7:30 pm.

Congratulations to MPHS's Boys and Girls Cross Country teams on qualifying for State. Our girls team finished 8th overall and our Boys team came in 1st Place!

MP Athletics update: The JV Flag Football game scheduled for today has been cancelled. There is no rescheduled date set at this time.
