The Don Cargill STEM Scholar Award (formally known as the Georgia STEM Scholar Award) recognizes teachers who are working hard to integrate effective STEM education in their classrooms. Don Cargill STEM Scholar teachers demonstrate a passion and determination to provide students with innovative and challenging STEM experiences. Don Cargill STEM Scholars create an atmosphere of exploration that excites, energizes, and equips their students to pursue enhanced educational opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Thank you, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Grizzard, for your hard work and leadership in STEM at HES! They will both receive a $500 gift from this scholarship to purchase STEM supplies for their classroom.

Tickets for HES PTO's Annual Father-Daughter Dance are on sale now! This event will be held at Hubbard Elementary School on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 7pm-9pm and is open to the community for elementary age daughters and their father/father figure! Tickets are $10 per person and include music by AJ the DJ, light refreshments, and selfie booths. A professional photographer will be on site to take photos for an additional fee. Due to fire codes, a limited number of tickets will be sold.
