4th grade participated in the Southeast Pollinator Census put on by the University of Georgia and 4H Extension Office. Ms. Rachel Frisbee joined us from the Monroe Extension as we joined thousands all over the Southeast in counting our pollinator friends to determine if we have a healthy ecosystem outside. If you want to get out today or tomorrow, please visit gsepc.org to find the count sheet.
All students and staff are invited to wear their college spirit gear, team colors or school colors on Friday, August 30th!

Summer Reading logs are due TOMORROW Friday, August 16. Students who return their completed summer reading logs will receive a special treat the week of August 19. CHECK YOUR TIGER TALES to print a copy of the log or write the titles of the books read on a piece of paper with the student's and teacher's name on it to turn in!
HES Pre-K Parent Orientation is THIS WEDNESDAY, August 14, 2024 at 6pm in the HES Cafeteria! This is a great opportunity to learn all about our Pre-K Program and expectations for the year! We hope to see you there!

Because this a such a well attended event, we are offering it on two different days. Please do your best to attend the date that is specific to the grade level your child is in.

If you have multiple students who are in both lower and upper grades, please attend the date that is most convenient for you! Since we do not have the ability to project the exact number of people in attendance, please understand that while we hope to have plenty, donuts and beverages will be offered while supplies last!

THURSDAYS are Student Folder Days! Please check your child's bookbag TONIGHT for their folder containing any student work they have completed as well as other important information! Please have your student return their folder with anything that needs to be completed or signed to their teacher tomorrow or as soon as possible!

As a reminder, you can walk your child in Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday after 8:00, so please plan accordingly. Students arriving between 7:30 - 8:00 are to report to the gym.

We are ready for an exciting day 2! These kindergarten friends are starting their day off right with breakfast from our amazing school nutrition department.
Today Mrs. Smith's 3rd graders completed an amazing "All About Me" STEM project! Each student showcased their creativity designing items to help their classmates get to know them.
Our first day at Hubbard Elementary was a hit! Joyful students, dedicated staff, and a smooth start to a new academic year. Excited for what’s next!
A huge thank you to Momentum Church for bringing the ice cream truck to Hubbard Elementary on our first day back! 🍦 The kids loved it and it made the day extra sweet. We appreciate your support!
